First of all, thanks for visiting my gallery. I hope you find my photographs appealing, and compelling. Come back often to see what is new. Photography is, and hopefully always will be, a learning experience for me. There is always something new for me to discover and share with you.I have been photographing something or other since I was 12 years old. I learned my first photography lessons in a nun’s bathroom. Sounds weird? Let me explain.
My Catholic grammar school had a photography club, which I joined in 7th grade. It met in the schools activity center, which was built in 1909 as a combined church, school and convent. Our meeting room was one of the convent’s old bedrooms, and the adjacent bathroom was converted into a darkroom, since it had running water. That is where I learned to develop black & white film and to make prints.
See, that wasn’t so weird after-all!
I dabbled in photography from then until about 2004 when I got my first digital camera, an Olympus D500-L. Since then, I have been avidly persuing my photographic interests, which are wide and ever changing. Along the way I have won awards and been published, as well as selling images to interesting people.
I hope you will find my work worth following and enjoying in your home, office, or wherever you may have a wall.
